Lucas Oil Tyson Perez Memorial bought to you by GT Bobcat.....
All Stars Media posted Friday February 12, 2016.

Nominations have rolled in for the 6th Tyson Perez Memorial with entries from N.T, ACT, SA, Vic and the USA and all the 360 hot shots wanting to be a part of this emotionally charged event.

Already in the high 20’s and the race paying $3000 to win with a total payout of $12K on the A Main, then throw in the $1K cash bonus for the Spud’s Dare making the night $13K pay out.

For the 5th year in a row Travis Rilat has flown in from Texas this week to compete in the race meeting held to honour his mate and again will be driving the PJS Motorsport USA29 XXX. Rilat winning the event last year is focused on repeating his efforts again.

Tony Bartlett Auto’s SA75 Cool has won the event 2 times in the past with Matt Egel behind the wheel. Bartlett has Chris Solomon driving this season and both Solomon and Bartlett will be giving it their all to take out the win. This event is very special to car owner Tony Bartlett as he knew Spud for many years, with a young Spud travelling with the Bartlett team on the road for World Series. TB would dearly love to make it No 3 for the team. Chris also has special memories of Tyson and won the inaugural event so No 2 would be special for him also.

SA22 Chad Ely was also mates with Tyson and will be there to be part of the night. Ely has been on the dais many times for this event and a win has been on his ‘bucket list ‘since the race was introduced but he hasn’t just quite managed it.

Other South Australian chargers SA18 Jed Bell, SA5 Trigga Gates, SA57 Rory Button & SA11 Scott Enderl are locked in.

The All Star ‘Kid Pack’ members V8 Corey Lincoln, V40 Dion Bellman, V71 Brayden Parr, SA44 Dan Evans & SA16 Jack Gartner are ready to dish it up to the seasoned veterans V4 Phil Lock, V7 Paul Solomon, V11 Brad Foster and last weekend’s winner Matt Reed in the ACT49 mount. Brenten Farrer’s V34 is currently leading the Series into the 2nd last round and will be looking for a good result to add to his Championship points.

Come and be a part of this very special event. The emotion is sure to be raw and the racing fast. Borderline Speedway, Mount Gambier, SA this Saturday night 13th February. On track action starts at 5.30.
