All Star Challenge star studded line up

With USA & Aussie Stars the magnitude of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Challenge grows every year and with added prize money makes the event the richest A Main for 360’s in Australia. The 7th running of this event is a highlight for the season.
Series regulars get to mix it with the best in the world and line up alongside some of their heroes. Terry McCarl is driving for the Hutchins/Tancredi Team. This will be the first outing in Australia for T-Mac and his first trip to the Bungador bullring. McCarl is a past winner of the 360 Knoxville Nationals and regular 360 runner in the States.
The team are fielding 2 cars on the night with regular driver Michael Tancredi also in the seat and not missing the opportunity to compete against these names.
Victory Lane Racegear owner Mathew Eastham is renowned for importing top names to drive his house car and this season he has secured the services of Greg Hodnett. Hodnett is also making his first appearance in Australia at Simpson. 41 year old Hodnett has 20+ wins during the 2016 season and will be looking at starting his Australian tour on a high.
25 year old Cory Eliason is the youngest of the American contingent but when it comes to exciting racing he will be one to watch. Eliason has teamed up with Adelaide’s Adam Curry in the USA00.Currie and Eliason have been friends for several years and it was Currie’s ambition to give Eliason a run in Australia. Eliason is a ‘thrill a minute’ racer and used to running short tracks in California.
The team ran last weekend at Murray Bridge with good results confidence will be on their side.
“What a cool honour it will be our All Star contracted teams – Farrer, Gates, Lock, Solomon’s, Gartner, Evans, Atkins, Newcombe, Dalitz & Forrell to race with these guys. Possibly a once in a life time experience for them. All of them are capable of winning.” says Mandy Searle.
