The Last Chance Cup
All Stars Media posted Thursday April 22, 2021.

After 2 failed attempts for the All Star Series to compete at Nyora Raceway earlier this season the Nyora committee were still very keen to run a 360 sprintcar show. So after negations between the SRA and the All Stars the Last Chance Cup has evolved. “There are a lot of competitors living in the Gippsland area and it is great for them that they get the opportunity to have a race meeting in their own backyard " and as we mentioned before it’s been 7 years since 360’s have run at Nyora and are excited to check it out again.

It also allows us to check the place out and hopefully be able to lock in a series round next season. We have some heavy hitters turning up and even with a small car count we will put on a show and hopefully give all the spectators what they have been waiting to see.” Mandy Searle said.

V60 Jordyn Charge comes into the night with confidence after a solid weekend at the Triple Crown Series which saw Charge stand on the top step both nights. 360 Australian Champion Brett Milburn is driving the PJS AU1.Milburn has been driving for Phil Seymour for a couple of seasons now the team just keeps getting faster each time they hit the track. After two strong nights last weekend 410 hot shot Grant Anderson is back in the B&B Retaining Walls V11.

Supercar legend V6 Cam Waters will have his first laps around the little Nyora bullring. Car owner Colin McQuinn is from the Carrum Downs area so the boys might have a fan club up on the hill. The name Moule is well known at Nyora with Tony and his Dad before him competing there for many years and now its third generation All Star Rookie Todd in the D26 is getting his turn to compete at Nyora.

It might be a bit emotional for Grand Ma Sandra but we are sure we someone can find a box of tissues for her. V39 Brett Smith, V18 Sam Millar, V88 Renae Eastham, VA52 Jason Bolitho making the long haul from Mildura are just some of the names locked in for this Saturday nights return to the little bull ring and all want to put it on the podium.

Thanks must be given to Victory Lane Racegear, IDIGIT Pty Ltd, B & B Retaining Walls and Foster Transport for also recommitting to sponsoring the event.
Remember there is an early start at 3.00pm with the promotion planning on an early finish allowing families to check out the Sprintcars after racing and still not being too late for the kids.
On track action starts at 3.00 – Nyora Raceway, Grundy Ave, Nyora
