Its not the end of the road, Its the beginning of the open highway
All Stars Media posted Monday February 19, 2024.

Promoter Mandy Searle announced at Heartland Raceway tonight that this will be the final season of the All Stars 360 Sprintcar Series.
The Series, which began in 2007 has travelled and presented shows in Australia’s South Eastern Region continuously since that time, commencing with a vision that started at Baccus Marsh Speedway and grew into the series as we know it today and which will conclude at Mildura Speedway this Easter.

The All Star Challenge, held in January at Simpson Speedway is the Series major event of the year, paying $15,000 to win making it the richest 360 Sprintcar event in Australia. This year saw 42 competitors, 5 American drivers including World of Outlaws Carson Macedo, Sheldon Haudenschild and Justin Peck take part in the event. Series regulars also got to compete with some of Australia’s leading Sprintcar drivers.
Mandy thanked all the attending teams for their support and commitment and was very proud that 6 teams were still racing with the series since its beginning in 2007.

She also thanked the series sponsors, without whom, the Series could not have achieved its goals. In particular, the support of Andrew Elder from Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers as the principal sponsor of the Series for 14 years and that of the All Star Challenge and the significant support of Max Dumesny Motorsport & Hoosier Tire Australia. She also recognised all the loyal contingency sponsors which have been with the series over the years, allowing the drivers to take home something extra regardless of whether they had a win or in some cases a bad night.

Mandy pointed out the series also would not have been possible without all of officials in her team over the years who have given up their spare time to help run each race night.

“Running a travelling series like this for 17 Seasons takes a lot of effort. I would have liked to have achieved a milestone 20 seasons with the series, but I guess none of us are getting any younger and I find myself not being able to give 100% anymore so have made the hard decision to end the series whilst it is still at this level.

Incredibly we have tracks already asking about increasing their number of rounds next year and tracks other than our series regulars asking about securing rounds. After the success of the Challenge, returning to Warrnambool the night after and having a healthy car count all season, its very satisfying to know that what started as a dream all those years ago has grown to become what it is today.

I have so many more people to thank for their support, which I will do individually over the course of the next few weeks. With Mildura at Easter, we have our series final night on Good Friday plus the 360 Sprintcars Easter Nationals on Sunday to look forward to so if you are in the area, please come up and say hello and enjoy a great weekend’s racing as we close the chapter on the All Stars and celebrate everything we have achieved for 360 racing in the last 17 years”.
